Delusions: or watchamacall-em'

The unreflected life is not worth living (Socrates)--The unlived life is not worth reflecting upon (Buddhist) No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusions are as necessary to our happiness as realities. – Christian nevell bovee-

Love so amazing, so divine

Love is made by God,

ignore it and you suffer as you cannot imagine,
How then can it be,
that honour and duty
-that befitting a King
should ere' stand in the way
Of true plain hearts
Of 'two loves be one'.

Smile because it happened,
Shed naught tears whence over,
what then shuld'st we make
Of none before
and none after?
Of this is forever, always together
ain't no lifetime love affair.

Trial and error,
Few wrongs doth make a right?
Can it ere' be the same?
Should the first be deepest,
why let go?
why settle for shallower waters?

Tis no game
Lest it be won simply
by quick cunning
or smooth cons
empty lies
broken skies.

~inspired collectively by Tristan & Isolde (John Donne), Paul Colman, and some.

Hey... Meant to leave u a comment the other day (but sleepiness overcame me)- it's a beautiful poem, overcome with passion and angst. May your love for the Lord and your obedience to Him be credited to you as righteousness.
