Delusions: or watchamacall-em'

The unreflected life is not worth living (Socrates)--The unlived life is not worth reflecting upon (Buddhist) No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusions are as necessary to our happiness as realities. – Christian nevell bovee-

You're The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!
by Douglas Adams

Considered by many to be one of the funniest people around, you are quite an entertainer. You've also traveled to the far reaches of what you deem possible, often confused and unsure of yourself. Life continues to jostle you around like a marble, but it's shown you so much of the world that you don't care. Wacky adventures continue to lie ahead. Your favorite number is 42.

Lol. Never expected it, but it is so timely, considering that my previous post touched on that 'guide' and just watched the show couple a' days ago (thanks Sean). Have yet to read the book tho'. Anyhow, i doubt this quiz is accurate. With only 6 questions, its hard to define anyone. Me funny? Now THAT'S funny...

You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

"Purpose"-ful update. (pun obviously intended)

CF Camp was good. Venue: Peacehaven, Genting. Theme: Choices. 1 person got saved...and others were touched definitely. We had Pastor Sivin Kit to speak. And he spoke well. haha. I personally liked the publicity for the camp. Nicely designed posters all around IMU including the toilets.

Been reminded lately alot to think about my purpose in life. Like 3 times this week. Monday-Inter-religious Forum topic was on the purpose of life; Wed- CF meeting, we touched on our purpose as students in IMU; today-watching Hitchhiker's Guide to the galaxy(Don't Panic! lol)..."the ultimate question:purpose/meaning of life?" Not a new question of course, but not an oft-pondered one either. There is a need to be constantly reminded of our purpose...

An article i found interesting on this matter.
Interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, author of The PurposeDriven Life

So what's your purpose?

" God didn't put me on earth just to fulfil a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings "
